Women in today’s society are labeled in multiple ways. How great would it be if we were each labeled “Empowering.” How great would it be if we each decided to be empowering women.
One of the best things we can do is women is continue to fight for our voice; to be heard; and to help each other out.
So want to be empowering? Here are five ways to do this:
Support Other Women.
In a society where the media continues to showcase the fights between women, how to compete for the stop and the list goes on. It is up to us, empowering women to step up the plate and support each other. Supporting each other over cutting each other down is contagious. If we want to see change, it has to start with us.
I don’t think people hear this one a lot. If we want to have empowering women we need to teach them how to be them, by example, by helping them understand how to use their words and their actions and how to stand up for what they want and believe in.
Accept all forms of every women. We are all born differently; we are unique in who we are. The more we celebrate the differences and accept the more empowering we are as women.
Create a Safe Place for Women.
Have you ever felt like you just needed to talk to someone? To have someone just listen with no judgement and keeping it between the two of you? That is exactly what empowering women do for others. Create that safe place for women all around.
Be the Role Model.
If you want to be empowering, you have to act the part through loving others, supporting them, using your voice for good and self-loving yourself through the good and bad.
