|10:15-11:00am||Self B: Live Life with Authenticity and Confidence||Lindsay Willis, a recent TEDx Traverse City finalist will speak about living life with authenticity and confidence. Have you ever struggled with loving the “real” you? Have you ever needed to know that it was ok to be authentically “you”? When we embrace who we are in a real, authentic way, we pave the way for confidence to grow in our lives. We love who we are more, we become more gentle with ourselves and we keep taking steps toward who and where we want to be in our lives. Join me on a journey of self love, self embrace, standing on your sacred ground and living your life with confidence.|

We “say” horrible things to ourselves silently in our minds, calling ourselves fat, ugly, criticizing our hair or the way we dress. We also have a bad habit of comparing ourselves to others. In this presentation I will teach girls how to silence that inner mean girl, become their own biggest cheerleader, and embrace their own unique qualities that make them so very special! I will teach them that comparison is a game they will never win, and show them that there REALLY are MANY different forms of beauty! Just like we all like different flavors of ice cream, every body on this planet finds different things beautiful. If we were all the same, life would be so boring!|
